The renovation and expansion of Louisville’s Speed Museum has taken 3 years, but wow!… Was it ever worth the wait. This place is beautiful. Louisville has a thriving arts community so it is appropriate that we have an art museum that makes us proud.
Most people think of museums as stuffy places just for grown ups. I love the fact that our museum not only caters both to children and adults, but the Speed Art Museum has a brand new greatly enhanced “Art Sparks” area for children. This is a place where they can learn about and enjoy art tailored for them.
